Dear AFT Local 2000 Members,

The election committee has informed us that according to federal law, union elections ballots must be mailed to members and ballots must be mailed back to the union through the US Postal Service. This means that after the ballots are mailed out, in about 3 weeks, you will not be able to pick up a ballot if you do not receive one. You will have to contact the election committee to request a ballot to be mailed.

Therefore it is very important to make sure that AFT 2000 has the correct addresses for everyone. If you have any concerns about this, please e-mail me at
